Wild Core is a Connecticut based non-profit organization. The organization is dedicated to conserving wildlife and wild places for the health of the earth and enjoyment by future generations. Wild Core is committed to offering quality education to individuals of our Connecticut Community. Our educational programs reach students in schools and out in the field to our new adult courses and summer camps and retreats for youth. Our educational programs teach and inspire individuals to be environmental stewards and respect the earth mother nature has so kindly let us borrow.
Wild Core is also known for great programming and special events for families and youth as well as individuals of any age. Wild Core offers workshops, presentations, activities and events that inspire and engage our members and patrons in creative learning and unforgettable and legendary fun!
Last but not least Wild Core is probably best known for our renowned volunteer placement program, which places groups and individuals throughout the state of ConnecticutConnecticut's beautiful communities and are great stewards to the environment. Our volunteers are everywhere: State Parks, In Schools, even working with other community organizations that share the same mission. Working with Wildlife, Gardening, Educating, and Trail Working even Camping are just a few ways that our volunteers are making a difference in the community.
