Mission Statement
To provide person centered services which foster independence, inclusion, individuality and productivity to children and adults with various disabilities by establishing goals together to enable each individual to reach their highest potential while utilizing a quality process.
Description
NCP is a non-profit corporation and a member of the United Way of Greater Niagara.
Niagara Children’s Education and Treatment Center serves more then 400 children with preschool education, clinical services, early intervention, and home-based therapy. The center serves both disabled and non-disabled children from birth to five years. The center is also providing clinical services (including speech therapy, physical therapy and occupational therapy) to individuals of all ages.
The Community Vocational Rehabilitation Center (CVRC) provides Sheltered Employment, Job Placement, Supported Employment, Adult Education, Collocated Day Treatment, Day Habilitation, Pre-vocational, and other services for adults with all types of disabilities. The goal is to promote community integration, choice and independence.
The Residential Division operates four Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF’s) in the Town of Niagara, Town of Lockport, Town of Wheatfield and the City of Niagara Falls. The agency also provides residential services through Supportive Apartments and Individual Residential Alternatives (IRA’s) within NiagaraCounty.
Other programs include Clinic Services, Service Coordination, Residential Habilitation, Individual Service Supports, Community-based Waiver Services, and Self-Advocacy.
