Description

Description of Programs - Individuals

The following Sahayta programs provide goods, services and funds to individuals afflicted with cancer.

Financial Support for treatment

Sahayta provides financial support to needy patients. The priority is to treat patients with good prognosis who cannot afford their costly treatment.

Cancer Awareness Program

Sahayta organizes these programs regularly to educate the public that if detected early cancer can be cured or at least controlled for quite some time. We will organize camps, rallies, and distribute pamphlets to the public.

Toy Bank Program

Sahayta provides toys to cancer afflicted children through its Toy Bank. These toys are donated to Sahayta by our donors.

Recreational Therapy

Sahayta will organize recreational therapies for children afflicted with cancer. We will organize painting competitions, workshops, dance workshops and outing for the children.

Program Limitation

Financial support is only provided to individuals who demonstrate inability to pay for their treatment. The individuals are interviewed and their backgrounds verified by Sahayta members assigned by the Board of Directors
