The agency fills a valuable niche in promoting healthy child and family development through a children's mental health Community Education Program; the Family Centered Child Care Collaborative (a collaboration with nine non-profit organizations to strengthen child care centers and increase parental involvement and services); Parents Under Construction, (a program that teaches children today the parenting skills they will need in the future); and the WHO, We Help Ourselves, Program (a child abuse prevention program presented by volunteers to children and adolescents).
