Mission Statement

WeCare is a ministry that was started to help families in need that live in the Hickory Grove community of Charlotte, NC. The ministry's focus is on families living in the 28212, 28215 and 28227 zip code areas.

Description

WeCare provides assistance with food and used clothing to needy families in the neighborhoods surrounding the Hickory Grove United Methodist Church.

Hours of operation: 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Needy neighbors may "walk-in" to request assistance once every three months.

Please note that the ministry is not open for walk-ins for clothing during the months of November and December.

Christmas: By application only beginning in September of each year.
