The Center for Health, Environment and Justice empowers community-based groups fighting contamination of the air, water or soil that threatens human health and the environment.
CHEJ is the preeminent national leader in educating and assisting communities â over 10,000 nationwide â so they can battle environmental threats to the health of their families and neighborhoods. The daunting list of dangers includes polluted drinking water, leaking dumpsites, pollution-spewing incinerators, hazardous waste sites, toxic pesticides, mercury, dioxin, pesticides, mold, sludge and many more.
