Wildfires are devastating communities across California, causing more than 300,000 people to evacuate their homes and threatening many more. The Camp Fire in Northern California -- one of three blazing across the state -- is the most destructive in state history. We want to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you find access to shelter. And if you are looking to help with disaster relief efforts, you know the most effective ways to contribute.

The Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum is dedicated to collecting, housing, researching, and exhibiting objects, documents, and photographs related to the history of agriculture and rural life in Loudoun County.
In our permanent exhibit, The Country People, visitors travel through time and experience the past 300 years of agricultural history through ten generations of Loudoun County residents. The â  Claude Moore Childrenâ  s Farmâ  is an interactive exhibit area for children and their families where you can dress up in play clothes and milk our life-like cow, collect eggs from the play chickens and play farmer for a day. And while youâ  re here, visit the Waxpool General Store. Formerly located off Route 28 in Ashburn, the Waxpool General Store was the center of the Waxpool Community for over 50 years. Today you can tour the re-creation of the store, role-play shopkeeper, shopper, and post master. Pretend to purchase inventory from the store, stock shelves, and sort mail. We offer SOL-based programs for schools and groups. Or book your childâ  s birthday party or special occasion with us. Donâ  t forget the museum gift shop - it is open during museum hours and you can shop at the store anytime without paying admission. Please call (703) 421-5322 for more information.
