The American Cancer Society is the nationwide community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to the elimination of cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.

Description

The American Cancer Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the elimination of cancer. We depend on volunteers to carry out our life saving work. They may volunteer to raise funds to support services, education and research; volunteer to provide services; volunteer to assist with educational programs; and volunteer to increase awareness about our organization.
