Friends of the Fairfax County Victim Assistance Network (Friends of VAN)

Mission Statement

Friends of the Fairfax County Victim Assistance Network provides direct service to survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence through funds for emergency and therapy needs. Friends of VAN promotes awareness through education, publications and other efforts. Friends of VAN monitors legislation affecting survivors on national, state and local levels. Lastly, Friends of VAN speaks to governmental and community groups on behalf of survivors and to inform public officials and the community of this need.
