Our vision is to serve children and families through a comprehensive array of culturally responsive programs and services that support and sustain the home and community. Service is based on the development of individualized care, which is strength-based, culturally responsive, family-focused and community driven. Trillium Family Services is a nonprofit agency that provides services at each of its four campuses in three Oregon regions--Portland Metro, Mid-Willamette Valley, and Central Oregon. Opened in June 2004, the Trillium Central Oregon Campus provides the only psychiatric residential services in the region that incorporates in-home skills training and therapeutic foster care. Before this new program opened in Bend, the children and families of Central Oregon were forced to travel to Portland or Corvallis for their mental health needs. Our Therapeutic Foster Care Homes offer the chance for children to be served in specially trained foster homes with the help of the intensive case-management services provided by Trillium Family Services staff. Clinical services include in-home skills building, educational and 24-hour crisis support, therapy, and psychiatric services. Our vision is to work with children and families to provide them the therapy they need to heal and the tools they require to manage their ongoing mental health issues in their homes and communities.
