Mission Statement

Digital Workforce Education Society, (DWES) is an International non-profit organization that provides the technology infrastructure, training and curriculum development designed for distance education and the training of a global digital workforce. DWES areas of service include bi-lingual (English/Spanish) constituents in the US and Latin America, K-12 schools and their students failing the US No Child Left Behind Act Education Standards in the US, and US Federal and State Government Agencies, Public Civic Organizations and Higher Education Institutions responsible for Economic Development, Entrepreneurship and Training Business Leaders for a 21st Century Global Economy.

DWES is based in Chicago, IL and is partnered with City Colleges of Chicago and has chapter offices in Mexico City, MX, Lucern, CH, and Bangkok, TH. DWES is one of the State of Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity's 65 Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) which is part of the Illinois Entrepreneurship Network partly funded by the US SBA, US Dept of Defense and US Dept. of Labor and our state government and host institutions. DWES provides technology enabling services and support to state and federal agencies and the other 64 SBDC centers within Illinois which serve 35,000 Illinois businesses and non profit constitutents each year.
