Mission Statement

Empowering adult learners of both Basic Literacy and English as a Second Language (ESL) to realize and to achieve their potential through one on one or small group instruction with volunteer tutors.

Description

The Literacy Volunteer Tutor Program needs volunteer tutors in literacy and English as a Second Language (ESL). Our volunteers are trained by the New Mexico Coalition for Literacy (NMCL) and certified by ProLiteracy Amercia. The program offers several training opportunities throughout the year.
