Mission Statement

Reimagine Education is a national collaborative of individuals and organizations with a mission to reframe the education issue as a root issue for personal and social transformation. Our aim is to encourage, develop, and support educational opportunities for nurturing the spirit and soul of childhood in which the whole child is the center of learning communities and where there is an emphasis on social justice and ecological sustainability. We see a vital and integral connection between intellectual development, social, emotional and physical health, and the cultivation of the child's inner life. Our goal is to promote and invest in child-centered, democratic education. We will unite parents, educators, and those in other societal transformation sectors in a cultural movement for educational rights and strategic action for what makes education "good": Nurture the whole person in personalized ways. Operate within a flexible, living organizational structure. Develop sustainable sources of operational support that enhance the educational mission.
