The goal of sustainability education is to develop in young people and their teachers new knowledge and new ways of thinking needed to achieve economic prosperity, participate democratically, secure justice and equity, and all the while regenerate the health of the ecosystems, the gift upon which all life and all production depend.

Description

The Cloud Institute for Sustainability Education was created in response to the growing need for educational materials and professional development focused on sustainability. All of our programs and materials meet apporpirate national and state content and performance standards as well as the corresponding achievement standards of the regional and state accrediting associations for independent schools.
