Han Woo-Ri: NW Korean Sports & Cultural Festival aims to share the rich cultural heritage of Korea through music, dance, film, sports, art, food, and traditional hand crafts.

Description

For five days, Korean and Korean-American artists, musicians, dancers, filmmakers and athletes from both sides of the Pacific Ocean will come together in Federal Way for the first annual Han Woo-Ri Festival. From traditional Korean dance performances to Bonsai tree demonstrations to soccer tournaments, this festival promises to delight audiences by offering a glimpse at many aspects of both traditional and contemporary Korean culture, as well as the chance to explore how time-honored traditions and the influence of the modern world are coming together in fascinating ways.
