Mission Statement

Art Therapy Connection (ATC) provides mental health services to at-risk youth with limited or no access to help. ATC works with children and teenagers to develop self-awareness and self-management skills by integrating art and creativity with therapy. ATC encourages troubled youth to progress and stay in school by achieving social, emotional and academic success through art therapy.

Description

Art Therapy Connection has been providing Chicago Public Schools with a school-based art psychotherapy program since 2002 and serving nearly 1000 students. ATC values the importance of using art and creativity with therapy. ATC's vision in work is t o see 100% high school graduation rate with all students who participate in the Art Therapy Connection program.
