Mission Statement

The purpose of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Corporation shall be to raise funds to provide the Meadville Martin Luther King scholarships each year. These scholarships shall be used to help disadvantaged students in the Meadville area attend colleges of their choice. Although the scholarships will be given predominately to Black students, there will be no restrictions or limitations in the selection procedures based upon race, sex, national origin, religion, or handicap.
