Mission Statement

"To assist vulnerable young people and their families in rebuilding their lives through caring relationships and opportunities to grow mentally, physically, socially and spiritually by living in a safe and healthy home".

Established in 1987 as a private, non-profit residential group home and licensed by the California Department of Social Services. The Ranch accommodates 32 at-risk boys, ages 13-18, placed in our care by court order because they have been abused or judged to be delinquent.

Valley Teen Ranch is nestled on 80 acres in the San Joaquin Valley of Central California. It is indeed a ranch with livestock, old shade trees, and early morning chores where these boys learn traditional family values.

The Transitional Living Home houses four young men, ages 18-21 who have no place to go and would otherwise be homeless.

The Foster Family Agency provides much needed therapeutic care for the many vulnerable children in the area.

The Adoption Agency matches and facilitates the adoptions of babies and children ages 0-17.

This was a great group of people to work with. I volunteered my time doing child care for them while parents were in evening classes/meetings.
