Unifour OneStop Collaborative, (UOC) is a non-profit (501 (c)(3)) non-partisan leadership and development organization that enhances the probability of success in the areas most economically depressed neighborhoods and due to the state of the economy the demand for our services has increased. Our mission is to promote educational achievement, social equality and economic self-sufficiency to the underserved population in the Unifour Region, (Alexander, Burke, Caldwell and Catawba Counties) and 31 additional counties in North Carolina including Mecklenburg, Durham, Wake, Guilford, Forsyth and many others. . We hope to create economically self-sufficient lives in communities that are flourishing with opportunity for growth.
In recent years, North Carolina has seen an increase in hostility and limited opportunities for its communities that are underrepresented. As the economic recession has closed the doors to businesses and slowed down industry growth throughout the state, thousands have been left jobless and with the reality of foreclosing on their dreams. UOC wants to provide our members and our constituency with the tools that they need in order to fight for what their challenges are and how their voices can be clearly heard in our state in order to provide a real shift of power in our state.
Our vision is one of shared values and common purpose - through our projects we strive to support all of our members, constituency, volunteers and like-minded organizations as they work to mobilize their communities around a vision of change.
