Hospice Care brings compassion, quality care and support to individuals and their families through life-limiting illness while providing outreach, education and expertise in grief support to the entire community.

Description

Hospice Care provides a coordinated team approach to care for patients who have a life-limiting illness for which there is no cure. Hospice is not a place; it is a special kind of care focused on ensuring that life is for LIVING. Hospice Care’s compassionate and skilled staff brings their services to the patient in their home, a family member’s home, a personal care home, assisted living facility or nursing home. The team’s goal is to enhance the quality of life for each patient and their family who receives services. Volunteers are an integral part of the Hospice Care team.
