Share the Gift of Literacy-Escondido Public Library Literacy Services is looking for patient and dedicated adults who are eager to help other adults improve their literacy skills. New tutors will go through a free orientation and training workshop and will then be matched with an English speaking learner to meet with for three hours a week, at your convenience. Many of the tutors who come through our program build life long friendships with their learners and gain the satisfaction of knowing that they have helped their learner to receive their GED, get a better job, fill out a medical form, or read to their children for the very first time.
