Mission Statement

Our mission is to ease the plight of domesticated mustangs by rescuing them from abusive and neglectful situations. Once at our center, we nurse them back to health, rehabilitate them, and train them so they can be adopted in to loving homes.

Description

We are a sanctuary and a rescue center. We receive mustangs from all types of situations and in all types of conditions. In whatever shape they come to us in, they can be sure that their lives will only get better from now on. Caring for a wild horse is drastically different than caring for a domestic one - something a lot of people do not realize until it is too late. Harsh training methods of wild horses can easily turn in to abuse, and sometime training a wild horse just turns out to be too much and the horse ends up neglected in someone’s backyard.

With qualified trainers and gentle training methods, we make most of these horses adoptable. Some however, have no desire to work with people and would rather be wild. We let these ones live out their lives in our wild horse sanctuary.
