Mission Statement

St. Vincent de Paul is a social justice minded nonprofit specializing in offering person-to-person service to those who are needy and suffering and is dedicated to helping all persons in need - regardless of creed, opinion, color, caste, or origin. Your support will help us continue in our mission to help the hungry, homeless, sick, disabled, elderly, and children.

Description

We offer bread donations, sack lunches, clothing, foo, furniture and gas vouchers as well as rental and utility bill assistance; and help Social Security recipients through our Charitable Works Office as well as through our two thrift store locations. We also: help to sponsor the Billings Christmas Toy Store through Toys for Tots, put on a Friends of the Poor Walk every September, and have Saturday brunches for the homeless.

Benefits of Volunteering: Our Volunteer Coordinator recognizes that most individuals would like to give and serve by fulfilling their 'idealist' selves but that volunteering can serve as a powerful tool to learn skillsets, gain experience for your resume, and garner a competitive advantage in this economy. In that way, service to help our friends can help the condition of all, and is part of the circle that goodwill serves in this economy. When contacting our Volunteer Coordinator, please let us know what we can do to improve our volunteer's lives as well.

We Accept Internship Applications on a case by case basis.
