Mission Statement
The mission of the Glenwood Library ESOL Program is to break down cultural barriers by learning, teaching, sharing communications and having fun.
Description
Glenwood Branch Library is a warm, welcoming community gather place for all ages, cultures, and ethnic groups. It's a place where everyone can grow in their knowledge and appreciate the joys of reading.
English language classes are offered in both beginning and intermediate levels. There are tutors available to provide one-on-one support to students learning for English. The branch also offers a computer lab with certain hours set aside for online English tutorials. For speakers of other languages, Glenwood offers a weekly conversation club which is an ideal forum to practice English language skills. These services attract learners from across the community.
