Mission Statement

St. Ann's Native American School is dedicated to the spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical formation of the youth of the Turtle Mountain Reservation, and seeks always to assist parents in their primary role as educators of their children, with continual focus on the Kingdom of God.

Description

St. Ann's is a Catholic community dedicated to serving the people of the Turtle Mountain Ojibwa Reservation located in the beautiful hills of North Dakota. We are situated near the Canadian border, just slightly east of the center of the state. St. Ann's consists of a 70 acre facility that sits atop a hill overlooking the town of Belcourt. Father's Lake is on the property and is used for summer youth camp activities and canoeing. The weather here can be very cold in the winter, so proper clothing is a necessity. Come planning to sled, snowshoe and cross-country ski. Thankfully, because all volunteers live and work on campus, there is no commute. Classrooms are an easy walk from the volunteer housing.
