The city of Aurora Xeriscape Volunteer program educates participants on the beauty and efficiency of xeriscape. We help Aurora citizens to (1) develop an understanding and respect for our water resources and the natural world, (2) build relationships with fellow citizens, (3) enrich the community, (4) learn and develop personally and professionally, (5) promote water conservation, and (6) be leaders of a sustainable future

Description

The Aurora Xeriscape Demonstration Garden at the Aurora Municipal Center is a 10-acre example of drought tolerant landscaping. The Garden is an educational tool that focuses on the principles of Xeriscape and the city of Aurora's water supply.
