Mission Statement

The world Adhesion FOundaiton is a not for profit organizatation that provides:

Information: patient Advocates for hopitalized patients suffering from Adhesion Related Disorders (ARD); Education to the medical profession about ARDs; and funding for reseach toprevent or minimize ARDs.

Adhesions are internal bands og csar tissue that form inside the body die to infection,inflammation,endometriosis,or as areas heal for surgery.

Adhesions cause disturbances in function,including infertility,intestinal obstruction,organs malfunction,chronic,sever pain in virtaually any part of the body and many somethimes be fatal.

Adhesion Related Disorders affect men,women and childrenof any race,social or economic backround.

current treatment for Adhesions is lyisior cutting of adhesions,which often results in additional adhesions.
