Mission Statement

The purposes of this organization are exclusively charitable and educational and we will achieve these purposes are by providing, as a benefit to the public, trained searchers for the search of victims who are lost, initiated, upon request of any official agency, day or night, under any and all conditions where people can efficiently operate and to provide continuous training and education for searchers and support personnel to improve and develop capabilities to ensure competent and capable search teams and operations.

Description

The Nicolet Search Team, Inc. is a group of volunteers from many walks of life who have dedicated themselves to helping others in time of need. It is the goal of our Team to provide skilled and trained ground searchers to assist official agencies in looking for individuals who are missing. The Nicolet Search Team. Inc is an outgrowth of several years of work by many dedicated volunteers to provide trained searchers in Northeast Wisconsin. The group began as a result of several lengthy searches conducted in Oconto County and the lack of trained people to conduct those searches. One highly skilled and trained searcher is worth 5 untrained searchers and so began the Nicolet Search Team, Inc. in March of 2002.
