Mission Statement

To create a local network within the Greater New York City area to fund, develop and assist sports initiatives that serve inner city or deserving kids. By Giving Back, we have an opportunity to level the playing field by promoting education and values through sports as a positive and meaningful alternative. Help foster a positive environment in areas that will assist in the educational process necessary to move forward in spirit body and mind.

Description

Giving Back Foundation (GBF) was founded to address the lack or absence of appropriate facilities for high school athletic programs in the low-income areas throughout the Tri-State area (NY, NJ, and CT). Public high school sports programs have suffered greatly do largely to budget cuts, red tape and the insufficient budgeting of tax revenues. By giving back, we have an opportunity to level the playing field as we promote values and education through sport. By giving back, we create a positive and meaningful alternative for both children and young adults.
