Garrett County Habitat for Humanity

Description

From 1983 to 2011, we have built 69 houses and, in conjunction with other agencies, have renovated or repaired 116 others serving families in Garrett County, MD (home of Deep Creek Lake).

Our building rate (2-3 homes per year) is above both the median and average in our region.

20+ local churches support us financially, volunteering at the site and partner in hosting our workers with housing and food.

We partnered with over 250 volunteers last year to complete our homes.

With our annual tithe, we have been instrumental in building 33 homes in El Salvador and Mongolia
