Mission Statement

Seniors United for Nutrition (SUN) supports and assists seniors over 60 with a hot, nutritious meal, home delivered or in a congregate setting, Monday through Friday.

SUN also provides a setting for fellowship and socialization, to help reduce isolation, and to provide opportunities for programs to enhance health and promote independence in the community.

Description

Seniors United for Nutrition administers the senior nutrition program for Iowa and Lafayette Counties, with the main office located in Dodgeville, WI. SUN provides a hot, nutritious meal around midday, Monday through Friday, providing 1/3 of the daily dietary requirements; it is the main meal of the day.

Meals are served in a congregate setting in 11 sites, and home delivered in 13 sites (Meals on Wheels).
