Living Creatures Animal Sanctuary

I recently reached out to the Living Creatures Animal Sanctuary for help placing my 2yr old cat in a new home.I wrote them an email explaining my situation which among other things involves losing my home, bouncing among family members's homes, losing my job and medical insurance, and a diagnosis of cervical cancer amounting far into the thousands of dollars of bills I can't pay. My cat has gone from a home to herself to being confined in a small room and constantly terrorized by two large dogs.All I asked was if they had anything they could help me with or could point me in the right direction of someone who could. I offered to try and help pay for her food, etc if a volunteer could take her.The response was from the PRESIDENT HERSELF! Extoling my selfishness saying I'm trying to "get rid of" my pet and I'm "giving up on" her as well. I'm sorry that they "are extremely over crowded and having to turn down animals..and you just want to give your cat up"
