Mission Statement

Save Our Shelter Dogs works to rescue dogs from euthanasia. We work closely with shelter directors and pull only dogs that are next in line for euthanasia thus continuing our mission to "rescue one until there are none". When we rescue a dog, they are usually only hours away from being put to sleep. We strive to educate people on the importance of spaying and neutering. We pride ourselves on being advocates for the animals, educating the public and caring for the forgotten. We are a small group of volunteers who bring these animals into our homes to teach them how to be part of a family while we search for a loving "forever" home for them. We cannot continue our mission, our goal and our love for the animals without your help. Please consider adopting, fostering or donating for a dog in need.
