I am volunteering with the Camp Fire kitties in Marysville on weekends (I work full time), and this organization is taking great care of the kitties awaiting reunification with their families. The kitties have excellent care, and when everyone is fed and cages cleaned, it's time to love on the kitties! Getting to see reunifications is truly heartwarming! This is a special opportunity, and I am grateful to be volunteering there ~ and I live 2 hours away!

This organization is incredible! Everyone here, from the staff to the volunteers, are passionate and work hard to save lives and educate the public. I am honored to have had the opportunity to volunteer at FieldHaven! I definitely recommend them if you are looking for a welcoming organization to volunteer for.

Although what they do is good, if you have to work with Jen (coordinator), she is rude and nasty and makes promises that she cannot keep. When you call upon those promises she pretends to not know what you are talking about and even goes to the extent of pretending she does not know who you are. Then she says cruel things to you like, "let the cat out on the highway for all I care" "or we don't have room for it" (and the cat is very ill!) even though she just told someone else to bring the cat in. I have no clue how this person is still working at this organization any more. I had volunteered with them 2 years ago, offering transport for their cats to and from Yuba City, Marysville, Auburn clinic, and some of the areas in between. (Again paid out of my own pocket) I had to pitch fits with Jen just to get her to honor her commitments to me as well as others. This site doesnt give me the room to post 1/3rd of how this woman, Jen, does and how the cats/kittens are the ones suffering!

Fieldhaven, the staff and all of the ongoing programs that they support for the cats, owned and community cats in their area are outstanding. From the fund raiser CCC in June, the 2 Thrift stores in Lincoln, the pet food pantry, transportation to low cost clinics for Spaying and Neutering, the Rodent Raiders( for less friendly felines), adoptions at the shelter, CAT team members who answer questions and concerns on the telephone and FB are just a few of the many services that the volunteers for this non profit accomplish. All with a smile and a purr. Have volunteered for them for a couple of years, and hope to for a long time to come. Purrr.
