Mission Statement

To provide professional judicial services for court users so they can obtain timely and economical justice within their community.

Description

There are 25 Justice Courts in Maricopa County stretching cross county from Surprise to Chandler, North Phoenix to Buckeye. The kind of cases handled by the Justice Courts provide for a continually high volume of work. Volunteers will offer much needed support to the court staff to assist in the completion of the more time consuming and necessary tasks, helping ensure the litigants’ journey through the court process is as timely and accurate as possible.

The average person is more likely to come into contact with the Justice Courts more than any other judicial body. A volunteer will be in the unique position to learn about and come to understand court procedures and all the positive aspects of the Justice Courts. Volunteers will become a powerful connection between the community and the court that serves it.

Our mission is to create an environment in which volunteers are challenged and fulfilled, and encourage them to ask questions and make any suggestions that will help us to better do so. No matter what cause or organization they choose, volunteers are a valuable resource and have such a positive impact on their communities.
