Northwest Programs for the Arts gets great art out and into the public where it can be appreciated, connecting artists with audiences, building Northwest culture, and helping build arts careers. NPA was established to ensure that the modern-day DaVincis and Mozarts have as much opportunity to focus on their art as possible, benefiting us all. NPA manages several programs, including the Northwest Music Fund and Save Public Art. The Northwest Music Fund assists developing artists with early recordings, touring, career advice, and special opportunities. Save Public Art is the "someone" in "Someone ought to do something about that piece of art that is falling apart."
