Our Mission

Bronx Charter School for the Arts is a public elementary school founded on the principle that arts education is a catalyst for the academic and social success of all students. Located in the South Bronx, we serve as a model that encourages reform and innovation in the broader public school system.

Upon graduation, our students demonstrate excellence in all academic subject areas and have a unique foundation of learning and experience in the arts. Bronx Arts students possess the intellectual and emotional fortitude to realize their dreams and overcome adversity.

Description

Bronx Arts is seeking a libraria for the upcoming months and possible school year 2012-2013. We have just secured a grant to build a Library/ Tech Center which has over 30,000.00 work of Scholastic books and reading materials for our students. First, we need someone who is qualified and able to give advice on how to start the checkiing in and out of books, then possible other opportunities may be available. Primarly and most importantly, we need assistance on getting our library up and running as soon as possible.
