Ensuring a safe, well-maintained multi-use trail as an integral part of the Little Miami recreational corridor while protecting/conserving natural resources and the environment.

Description

The Little Miami State Park is a 50-mile long multi-use trail along the Little Miami River stretching from Newtown (Cincinnati) to Xenia OH. Due to current state funding levels, the Friends of the Little Miami State Park was formed in 2009. The 50-mile trail is divided into 24 segments and each segment has a Segment Adopter who is responsible for that segment, e.g. removing fallen trees, clearing lines of sight at intersection. removing honeysuckle, planting grass and trees, etc.
