Skills 4 Living has high ambitions but is unorganized and poorly-led. From the beginning, time commitments are widely underestimated and extra time devotion seems unappreciated. Volunteers are given unclear directions and have no leader or knowledgeable contact person to refer to -- in part because of constant staff/board/volunteer turnover and reorganizations. You will find yourself doing the same work and answering the same calls/emails over and over. All-in-all, working for them is a disappointing experience.  They may have a great message but are in desperate need of better leadership and planning. Volunteering should be a give-and-take between the non-profit and the volunteer. This is not the case at Skills 4 Living.
