Mission Statement

The mission of Senior Volunteer Connection is to utilize the vast talents of older individuals willing to share their experience, abilities and skills in responding to a wide variety of community needs.

Description

Senior Volunteer Program is a program of the South Georgia Partnership to End Homelessness, Inc. The Senior Volunteer Program house two programs, the Foster Grandparent Program (FGP) and the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) which are administered by the Corporation for National and Community Service, the federal agency that supports service and volunteer programs to improve lives, strengthen communities and foster civic engagement.

We provide volunteer opportunities for seniors 55 years old or older.
