Mission Statement

Choice for Change is an alternative education program offering support for GED completion and college preparatory instruction. Our program is designed specifically for those students who have not found success in the traditional school system but are still eager to pursue a higher education. The curriculum is geared towards the needs of the individual learner. The program is dedicated to educating students, as well as providing the skills necessary to succeed in interpersonal, occupational and civic life.

Description

Choice for Change (C4C) supports those students preparing to take the GED test battery, and those preparing to enroll in credit-bearing courses at the South Puget Sound Community College. Students without a GED work towards its completion. Students who have received their GED focus on the those skills necessary to succeed in the college setting. Those ready for and enrolled in college coursework continue to spend part of their day at Choice for Change, receiving continued academic and financial support.
