Morgan State University and the James E. Lewis Museum of Art has a mission to educate and develop a cadre of future citizens who will contribute to society as scholars, artists, and educators. The James E. Lewis Museum of Art focuses on serving the academic and cultural needs of Morgan's expanding community, including schools, nonprofit groups, faith-based services, and the art world, particularly those with limited access to art.
