I haven't learned much, but the staff is very friendly and the environment is very peaceful. It is an easy volunteer job for anybody looking to help or just get workplace experience.

The Monrovia Library strikes an excellent balance between being both super-organized to provide a framework that volunteers can work in, and being flexible and interested in individual volunteer skills and interests. Beyond that, it is a very positive, friendly, enthusiastic environment, and I've enjoyed every single person (staff and volunteers) that I've had contact with at the library. I volunteer twice a week at the library, and it is a real highlight of my week. I would highly recommend it.
