Stonewall Farm is a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization that consists of over 270-acres of working farmland, and community education center for children and adult program. Stonewall Farm strives to enable current and future generations of New England residents to have a deeper understanding and appreciation of farm life, local heritage and culture, and our natural environment. We endeavor to promote public interest in sustainable agricultural practices and to encourage the responsible use, conservation, and preservation of the land and traditional rural heritage experience. This mission is accomplished through a variety of educational programs and community activities such as community supported agriculture, educational tours and field trips for school children, summer camps, courses on farming and traditional crafts, seasonal community events, and various community outreach programs. About 6,000 children visit Stonewall Farm each year on school field trips, and there are over 9,000 additional visitors taking part in programmed events, community outreach programs, and self-guided visits.
