Mission Statement

The Friends of Boerner Botanical Gardens are dedicated to preserving and promoting Boerner Botanical Gardens and Arboretum as an outstanding regional resource and vital regional assest. By providing qualilty educational programs, the Friends stimulate interest in, appreciation for and understanding of horticulture and gardening.

Description

The gardens serve as a "living museum" of plants, offering over 1,700 acres of garden, arboretum and park space. A place of beauty and serenity the gardens host over 275,000 visitors per year. the gardens also serve as an outdoor classroom appealing to horticultural and botanical interest groups and is a valuable tourism resource to Wisconsin.

FBBG is a wonderful organization. The people there have hearts of gold and the classes they provide to children are wonderful. They are always looking for more volunteers!
