Sustaining Futures has been involved in various capacities in Southeast Asia for the last 15 years. We concentrate on assisting other non-profits, government agencies, community organizations and the general public to increase their capacity and capabilities do a better job and improve the quality of life for themselves and the people they serve. Sustaining Futures also works with for-profit businesses in a not for profit capacity. We place a necessary and genuine emphasis on community participation and the formation of long-term mutually beneficial partnerships within and between the non-profit, public (government) and private sectors. Our philosophy maintains that the development of multi-focused programs and projects are the keys to success by addressing many related issues, problems and concerns at the same time. And we take a special interest in guiding organizations towards self-sufficiency. Sustaining Futures relies heavily on volunteers to assist us and our partners in developing and implementing various activities. We facilitate dedicated, talented and adventuresome people in securing meaningful and rewarding volunteer positions in situations that will further their careers and provide them with both global insights and personal fulfillment. Creativity, energy, commitment and flexibility are stressed at Sustaining Futures and our partner organizations.
