Description
Camp City Year is an exciting week of learning and fun for elementary school children in Washington, DC and Maryland. It is the perfect solution for parents faced with a day-care dilemma during the spring vacation. An exciting, week-long day-camp, Camp City Year provides children with an alternative spring break opportunity. The camp is open to all elementary school children. This yearâ  s theme is Destination Discovery: Where in Time is Camp City Year? Campers will learn about their worldâ  past, present, and futureâ  through educational and FUN activities. Campers will trudge through a swamp with dinosaurs one day, and blast off to Pluto the next. Our mission is to broaden childrenâ  s horizons and give them a taste of the world around them. The camp will culminate with a day of service projects to promote the idea of community involvement. The dates for this yearâ  s camp are March 28 through April 1 and will be held at two different sitesâ  one in DC and one in Silver Spring, Maryland.
