The Saturday Scholars Program is a holistic, free tutoring and mentoring and motivational program made up of caring individuals (adults and students) who volunteer their time to help students: à  à  à  à ·Who are having problems in class à  à  à  à ·Who feel they could benefit from the one-on-one instruction that tutoring and mentoring provides à  à  à  à ·Who simply want to excel further in their studies à  à  à  à ·In addition to being free, the Saturday Scholars Program bundles tutoring, mentoring, nurturing, and motivating. It mainly targets elementary and middle/junior high school students. High school and college students are invited to participate as mentors/tutors, and will receive community service credit for each Saturday. note: After 12 successful years in the school library setting, Saturday Scholars is moving in the public libraries.
