Description

The Saturday Scholars Program is a holistic, free tutoring and mentoring and motivational program made up of caring individuals (adults and students) who volunteer their time to help students: à  à  à  à ·Who are having problems in class à  à  à  à ·Who feel they could benefit from the one-on-one instruction that tutoring and mentoring provides à  à  à  à ·Who simply want to excel further in their studies à  à  à  à ·In addition to being free, the Saturday Scholars Program bundles tutoring, mentoring, nurturing, and motivating. It mainly targets elementary and middle/junior high school students. High school and college students are invited to participate as mentors/tutors, and will receive community service credit for each Saturday. note: After 12 successful years in the school library setting, Saturday Scholars is moving in the public libraries. Now in the Euless an Irving Public Libraries. For Euless Public Library, please call 817-685-1480 and for the Irving Public Libray, please call the children department at 972-721-2458.
