I worked at Think Together as a Site Coordinator, and experienced first hand the motivated and hard working staff both on the field and in home office. As an organization, they care about their employees and create a work environment that is rich in opportunities for both professional and personal growth.
I really liked all the people /staff I've come in contact with at Think Together. They were/have all been friendly & sincere not to mention helpful & understanding to some flaws involving my situation. I expected to get judged here after those flaws coming out a bit lol but instead I was shown kindness & compassion. I owe them not only a thank you but a bit of an over due apology for not getting back to them since I stopped volunteering here (in Anaheim, reading to kids in the waiting room at a pediatricians office.) They were all very pleasant to work with and all seemed genuine in terms of being good hearted people. :)
I volunteered there so many times because the kids were wonderful and I was very playful with them also we did science projects with them, playing games, but before we do any of these kinds of activities we do homework and I tutor them. Thanks to THINK Together I got a reward certificate from them and a price of $300!! Thanks THINK Together!! You guys are the BEST! (*^▽^*)
Based on the description this seems like a very interesting program. The program will be a good match since I am currently studying Counseling Psychology. I Also am wanting to work with children after I am done with my degree.
I absolutely love volunteering with all of these young children. I volunteer at a hospital as well but working with this organization certainly does not compare. I also really admire how THINK Together curriculum enables the students to become more diverse. On my first day there, the children were learning the Greek alphabet. Not even I know that! I am truly impressed and amazed. I hope and look forward to volunteering for this program for many years to come!
This organization is awesome. You are really hands on with the students. You help them with their homework or play sports with them. Very interactive and fulfilling. You can see that you make a difference.
