Mission Statement

The Glendale Historical Society was formed in 1979 to save the Doctors House, a Vicotrian cottage, from demolition. After four years of moving and restoring the house to it's original splendor, the house museum has been open to the public every Sunday for tours. This can only be achieved with the continued spirit of volunteerism.

Guided tours help educate and promote awareness in the value of architectural preservation and local history.

Description

Volunteering to become a tour guide (Docent) involves committing to volunteer for one Sunday per month, for two hours; 2 - 4 pm.
